Statement Of Beliefs

• We believe that the Bible is inspired by God in order to reveal Himself, His headship over creation, his design for humans, and how he has made possible relationship with him.
• We believe that God exists in three persons - Father, Son and Holy Spirit, the same in substance, equal in power and glory.
• We believe that Jesus Christ was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of a virgin, completely God and completely man, and lived a perfect sinless life.
• We believe that humankind was created in the image of God, that having sinned physical and spiritual death occured, which is relational division from God and resulted in all humans being born self-centered.
• We believe that the only righteous man, the Lord Jesus Christ, willingly submitted to crucifixion in order to take upon himself the punishment of the human race as both our representative and substitute in order to remove the barrier between God and humans.
• We believe that Jesus Christ offers the forgiveness of sins and his resurrected life to any person who will receive him as their benefactor.
• We believe that the resurrected Lord Jesus Christ resides bodily in heaven.
• We believe in the return of our Lord Jesus Christ to set up his kingdom upon the earth to reign in righteousness and justice.
• We believe that salvation is by grace through faith for all who receive him.
• We believe the Holy Spirit indwells in all who receive Jesus for salvation.
• We believe the church is made up of Christ’s followers and her purpose is to make Jesus and his way of life known by living in relationship with other Christ followers, inviting others into our fellowship, and serving our community.
